As we return from a productive few days at the CoreNet EMEA Conference, MiX wanted to share some key takeaways from the sessions.

The Keynote speaker shared with us a piece on ‘How to pivot to an AI Growth Mindset’.

It’s clear that AI is at the forefront of corporate real estate, and those who aren’t using it will fall behind.

🚨Change can reduce risk

Directed to our end-users, the keynote speaker referenced a pre-mortem experiment and encouraged all to consider: If your company went ‘belly up’ tomorrow, “What change will you make today to prevent this from happening?”.

🏢Connection & Engagement in Workplace Design

Valuable insights were gained at the session ‘From Data to Design, Building a Workplace that Connects and Engages’. This included a talk around the ‘Wise’ Project at Worship Square which MiX were appointed on.

The talk detailed how Wise engaged Leesman for an initial survey prior to the design to understand how Wise’s current workplace worked for them.

This survey assisted HLW in designing a workplace that incorporated purpose and considered employee needs.
To connect and engage with employees, you must make the workplace better than the home office.
