Last week we welcomed a student for a week of work experience. With her interest in Sales and Marketing we started the week looking at the pipeline and explaining MiX’s role on the project from cultivating an initial lead all the way to signing off practical completion.

On Thursday, we had a site visit to one of MiX’s current projects, a high profile legal fit-out in the City. It was great to see how MiX’s designs are coming to life, and showcasing all the areas of an office that you might not think about but play a vital role in workplace design.

We ended the week with cake, hot chocolates and a presentation of an independent task. It was a great opportunity to gain a fresh perspective and chance to show the next generation all the available career routes for women in construction.
